Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve ALWAYS been an automobile enthusiast, a gearhead, a grease monkey and had a passion for building and repairing my own vehicles from an adolescent age.

In my early years, I worked out of a garage in Mongiraud and in those days when a car broke down or an accident occured nearby, it could have been several hours before the driver found an often makeshift way of removing the vehicle from the scene. In some cases the vehicle would even spend the night where it stopped.

My passion for fixing cars, and a little luck, usually meant that I was part an parcel of the vehicle recovery process along the Mongiraud road.

Fast forward a few years, at 23 I finished building my very own tow truck, a 1985 model Chevy. This went on to be Tyrone’s Wrecker Service first tow truck and stayed in service until 2018!

We worked out of the small space in Mongiraud until 2009, where we had a fulltime staff of 3 and needed more space for storage after we recovered a vehicle. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase a 1 acre space just 100 feet away from my humble beginnings, forever reminding me of where I’ve come from and where we can go.
